Beneath the implementation of usefull ethernet console tools like

ping, ifconfig, rsync, ssh, nslookup, telnet, rdate, wget, nc, tftp, traceroute, ....

the pocket ethernet includes an FLTK-based Configuration Tool which will run from your system tray. You can set your IP as well as a NameServer easily.
